Dr. Cheryl R. Kelly
Dr. Kelly received her Doctorate in Education from Vanderbilt University (1984). She also holds other advanced degrees from the University of Massachusetts (Masters Degree and CAGS in School Psychology) and Salem State College (Masters in Counseling). She also has completed four years PPR post-doctoral training in psychopharmacology. She is a licensed psychologist in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and holds credentials as a substance abuse professional. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
Her 25-year career included work in colleges, public schools, and private practice. She was an assistant professor in counselor training at Notre Dame College for 10 years. Additionally, she taught in other graduate psychology and counseling training programs including the University of New Hampshire, Rivier College, and Salem State College. Dr. Kelly has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. She specializes in treatment of depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and substance abuse. She also provides couples counseling and treatment of behavioral disorders in children. Dr. Kelly's expertise includes psychological and neuropsychological testing, as well as substance abuse assessments. Dr. Kelly is a member of American Psychological Association, New Hampshire Psychological Association, and the National Association of School Psychologists. She was recently appointed to the New Hampshire Psychological Association's Committee on psychologist's prescription privileges. She is also a mental health member on the NH State Crisis Response Team dealing with disasters.
